It’s never too early to start packing for the best weekend of the year! Memorial Day Weekend is almost here (!!!) and once you’ve picked out your perfect outfit, it’s time to tackle the rest of your packing. To make sure you hit the beach with everything you need, here are some essentials you’ll want to throw in your bag:

Beach Towel

The start of summer is the perfect time to treat yourself to a new beach towel. The classic Laguna Beach Towel ($26) is embroidered with a cute pink seahorse you can show off on your favorite beach, plus it’s super soft for laying out and catching some sun or drying off after a swim.

Accessories Bag

When you have a big tote to corral your beach supplies like sunscreen, towels, and flip flops in, it’s a good idea to invest in a wristlet to keep smaller accessories safe from the sand. The Solana Wristlet ($16) is the perfect size to hold headphones, your phone, keys, and a few dollars for buying a sweet treat!

Beach Book

Is there anything better than reading a new book or magazine while laying out on the beach or on a chaise at the pool? Pick up one of these beach books for the weekend before required summer reading starts!

Reusable Water Bottle

The rising temperatures can leave you dehydrated, especially if you’re spending the day in the sun. Be sure to bring along a super cute reusable water bottle in your beach tote to stay hydrated throughout the day. The Contigo Tranquil Water Bottle ($9.99) comes in a variety of fun, bright colors for summer.

Flip Flops

Much like beach towels, it’s always a good idea to pick up a new pair of flip flops for the summer. When you’re taking a beach walk to find your besties, you’ll want to wear the Sanibel Flip-Flops ($22) to make a statement when you step in the sand. You can choose from aqua, black, or pink, and they leave phrases like “Mermaids Were Here”“Make a Splash, or “School’s Out” in the sand behind you.
